It had been a while since that night. When he and that woman met. That time she seemed more adventurous, more full of life than he ever was. Kind of reminded him of MJ, but ten times more alive. Which was strange. In any case he had called because after all the 'SHIELD' stuff he found life was bland. His real life.
Spiderman has everything. He has people now treating him like a hero. People begging him for this and that. Yet he also had the ones that hate him. For associating with mutants. Accused of being a mutant. He was so shocked that a life like this has lead him into this. The other day he met a woman that was a mutant. Yet she was so afraid of him, he was... just well. Unable to do anything for her.
Anyway, he stood at the entrance to the forest. Mostly fiddling with his camera lense. He wanted to get some great pictures. Yet he had no idea what else he can do but just try and enjoy himself. Take some time to talk with people. About what he's doing. More importantly to her.
Standing against the post of the forest limit. He sighed and closed his eyes. Smiling as he spun the lense inside his fingers. When she came, he imagined that he'd look for another picture of hers. Which he had developed and low-behold he kept a copy for her. Though his editors wanted to go with other faces for the school piece he still believed hers, reading that book at the coffee place was perhaps one of his best ones so far.
Better than the glory fasceted Spiderman ones.

She came walking up the path. Nothing special this time around at first either. She was listening to some music and bobbing her head. She sees him and nods, heading over. She blows a bubble, which pops. This straight again, she always had such fun breaking the innocent ones. Though truth be told in the long run she'd end up leaving anyway. She already knew this guy was too good for her tastes. Plus, she was joining in the revolution and that was no place for norms like Pete.

Seeing her. He smirked and stood straight. "Hey I was afraid you might not come." Not even sure she heard him. He waited for her to remove the earphones. Then he smiled and shrugged. "I hope you won't mind walking in the park with me. It's not like what you're accustomed to, least not what you showed me last time." He blushed a bit. "I mean, I like it and I figured I can get some good pics out here."
Looking at her. He asks, "That reminds me did you ever look for that article? They passed on your pics but I uh..." he started holding the envelope. "Here, this is a picture of you at the coffee place. I think it came out pretty good. I hope you like it."

"You have no clue what I am or am not accustomed to Peteyboy, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't assume things. I might have to beat the habit out of you." She pulls the ear buds out and pockets them, She blows a bubble as she takes the picture. She pockets it with a small smile. "Thanks." Then with her hands in her pockets she keeps walking down the path. She wasn't too concerned with his pictures, though that one was decent enough she supposed.

"Oh, I didn't mean... I mean, I suppose I did?" Huh, he frowned as he walked up beside her as they enter the park. Looking down he sighed a bit. "Sorry I really didn't mean to sound like I'm putting you down. That's never my intent. I just have that effect lately, I suppose?"
Shaking his head he admits. "There have been so many things going on... lately everyone thinks Spider Man is a mutant and well, they think that my picturing him like I do I'm a mutant lover."
That, he was wide eyed, "Wait, not to say I hate mutants. Because I don't. I just, I have to be careful. Because the Bugle is on an anti-mutant budget or something thanks to that Trask guy and his funding and.... oh boy." He slapped his forehead. "I'm talking too much aren't I? I think it's because I'm just nervous. I'm with you again, and you're really gorgeous and, every time I'm with you I get these butterflies in my stomach and I.... I.... just said all of that out loud, wow..."
Peter's eyes betray him. He looks away more embarassed. Then fidgets with his camera. He needed a good distraction. So he saw a robin on a limb and remarks, "Hey, look. A Robin." He aimed and tried to get a picture. May as well. Lord knew he's not making anything good with his lady friend tonight. Taking a picture he smiled. It was lovely out here.

She gives him a playful shove. "Quit worrin' so much. You're gonna get an ulcer. And you are a mutant lover honey. After all, you're sweet on me and I don't hide what I am... well..." The shadows close around her a little as she stands there looking all cute-like. "I guess they hide themselves." She acts like she ignored the rest, until he's taking the picture. She jumps up on his back and wraps her arms around his neck, pressing her entire hot and gorgeous body against him.

She seemed to care about his well being. At least enough to joke. Yet it's what he did. After loosing Uncle Ben, Parker worried about everything. About his aunt, the future and more importantly his choices. Every choice was heavily weighed. Just like his back was weighed down with....
"Ahh." He smiled as she hugged him. Then hung on his back. A hand gently holding her arm he turned up and just hugged back a little. It felt kind of nice now that he thought about it. Then he asked her something. "Does it bother you that you're spending time with me? When I'm not someone like you?"
He didn't know if that made sense. Yet he's sure she knew what he meant. Frowning a little, he said, "I don't blame you for it. I know most people out there hate mutants.... so, if you hate us. I understand. Just know I've never hated anyone for what they are. That's just kind of pointless to me. Personally."
A sudden realization. He smiled again as he closed his eyes and hung his head. Closing the cap on his camera he reminisces, "I was bullied as a kid for being smaller, weaker and just all out different to the popular kids. Flash Thompson made it his life to treat me like crap. Not to mention there were so many girls then that just loved to tease me for fun. Make dates and tell me it was a joke." At this, he sighed deeply. "I suppose people sometimes pick on one another for being different. So they feel part of the whole. In a way hiding from the truth that we all are different in our own ways."
Somehow. It was spurring him again. He did not act like a kid, or young man. Often just so busy with things. "Ahh..." he opened his eyes and hung his camera on his neck. Taking a few steps from Silhouette. He wondered, to himself but also aloud. "Would you approve of this Uncle Ben? I hope so."

Her laughter is kind of musical. "I spend all my time around people who aren't like me. The only person I know like me is that bouncer at the night club. Either they aren't a mutant or they don't have my style. The second being most important." She stretches her arms up into the air and yawns. "And I hate a lot of people, mutant and non mutant a like. I'm just ready to crush anyone who dares get in the way of living my life. Guys would make fun of me and I'd punch them in the face. They don't laugh so hard when they got beat up by a girl. And you don't know the half of it about girls, they're worse to each other than they were to you. Of course they stop talking behind your back when you break their arms.
She seemed to smile a little fiercely as she talks about her past conquests. She actually got a kick out of doing those things. People just needed to give hera reason to beat them up. "And I dunno what some guy on a rice pack has to do with anything..."

"Uh...." Peter smirked, but also just scratched his head. "My Uncle Ben. He's kind of my reminder of something. Anyway, don't you have a family member or someone you look up to? That makes you consider the life you live. Try to be a little more like? I mean, everyone does I think."
Seeming to not know what else to say. He took a moment to set his camera on his neck and walk along the forest. Though he did like this. He was not sure how to keep her entertained. It's important on a date, right? If this is a date? Hell was it? He didn't know. Though he liked the think it was.
"Hey, uh, did you get home safe the other night after visiting my Aunt? She's been asking me qestions. In fact, she asked if I met a nice girl at the college. I told her I did, but she's a little special." That didn't sound right, "I mean, I told her special as in unique, not as in like... special-special." Yeah, that sounds... good?

"Never knew my family. And my orphanage made little Orphan Annie and Oliver Twist's look like a condo in Florida. And I can take care of myself, I've always had to and I always will be able to." After a few moments of walking along and watching him something dawns on her. Then she stops walking and grabs Peter by the scruff of his shirt, she hoists him up into the air. Scary would be the way to describe the way she's looking up at him. "And be a little more what?"

It wasn't anything he meant to strum up. The family thing. Yet the orphanages sounded rough... "I'm sorry..."
Suddenly, she's grabbing him by the scruff. "Wh-what?" He blinked in utter confusion. Geez, it was like a mood swing.... realizing what she's asking. He frowned. "Like them. The people you looked up to. Yet you just said you didn't have any so... I guess, no. For me it was my Uncle Ben. He did everything for me. Tried to do his best by me."
A frown. He suddenly looked down. "I didn't save him. When a common thug shot him. Over a few dollars he tried to rob from my Uncle, and his car. My Uncle just never knew when to back down. Yet when we learned who he was... and that I was able to stop that man, moments before the shooting..."
Parker slowly grabbed her hand. Just squeezing. It's a bit shocking that even he forgot his 'spider strength' but he looked at her with a little bit more fervor. For a minute. Then he smiled and stroked her arm gently.
With that. He sighed and told her. "With great power came great responsibilty. Right now, you've got the power.... so, you going to be responsible with it? Or are you going to play around some more with me?"
That, is when he smiled. Yes, he meant that. To be a joke.

She glowers up at him a little after his little speech and then puts him down. "I'm actually going to be helping a great man head up a group to free mutants from oppression. That's as responsible as I'll get." She reaches into the pocket of her long coat and pulls out a bottle of Jack Daniels. She takes a swig and then puts the bottle back. "And I can use them to play if I wish." Let's just say the shadows in Peter's clothes, which because of the trees are also attached to her shadow, are giving him a rise.

"Agh..." He jumped. Suddenly. Then he pulled at his jacket and suddenly asked, "Wh-hey! Can you knock that off? That tickles!"
It did, making him shiver and smirk a bit. Yet when she stopped. He just wondered, "Is that really responsible? What does this 'great' man intend you all do? I mean, what if it's something bad? Would you be okay with that?"
Parker was a good guy. Naturally, he tried to be. Yet he frowned a little. His heart was a bit, iffy lately. "What if he wants you to go to war? I mean, Hitler was a 'great' man in some ways too. I just don't want you getting involved with that kind of trouble. Maybe even getting hurt."
Sounded nice to say. Yet it's not his place to nose in. "You're my friend. I care about you."
That also sounded nice, but unrealistic.

"Well, I'm tickling your fancy, I suppose it should..." The playful lilt in her voice was as wry as her smile, athough the shadows do cease their actions. She turns away and hops up into a V-shaped tree. She climbs up a little and then hangs upside down from a horizontal branch. "Good and bad get awful murky when you're scrounging for your next meal and to not whore yourself out to get the money and not letting the big strong scary men just take what they want by force. And Roosevelt was a great man, he led our country to war. And as sweet as it is for you to be so worried about me Peter, you are naieve if you think I haven't already been hurt. Pain is weakness leaving the body, and last time I checked I'm a pretty strong woman. I don't need you or anyone else worrying about me. I am actually the great man's strongest warrior right now." She drops to the ground, turning a half flip in the air so that she lands in a crouch on her feet. This boy was almost as much of a boyscout as Scott was, but without the self righteousness. It was kind of unflattering.

Huh. Sounds like she was pretty adamant on this crusade of hers. Though he now wondered, "What if I'm not just worried about your safety? What if I'm worried about the safety of others?"
Funny how that worked. He just smiled and rubbed his head. "Or maybe I'm scared one day, you'll be one of the bad-girl who just kills anyone that gets in her way. No matter what? I don't know if I could... handle... that."
A somewhat unflattering silence fell over them now. A slight sigh, Parker tugs his jacket at the sleeves. He was just not sure. "To be perfectly honest. I think, that you're a great girl. You seem to be honest. For all the good and the bad reasons. Which I love that about you. Yet I don't know why, I feel that maybe you're too easy going. That you just don't have anything you want to hold onto. Other than yourself. No real ideals, or beliefs other than just doing what it is that makes you 'alive' or... something..."
Parker finally admits, "I really don't know you though. I just know the girl that was on the other side of my lense one day. That I've been so captivated with I just can't stop thinking about her." Fumbling with his camera, he shrugs a little. "I felt strangely alive too when we talked. Less like the safe life I live with my aunt. Trying to make it so she won't have to worry, thanks to what I did to uncle Ben. Letting him...." he just frowned.
It grew quiet again all of a sudden... until...
"If this man tells you to kill a lot of people. Do you really have no problems with it? Even if they were just innocents?"
