Titus's brow furrows in confusion. The page didn't really say anything. And he would flat out say it. "There's nothing written there..." What a drag, he was hoping he could get away without saying too much to these two. The less he talked the better. "Well I know The Illiad and the Odyssey, Beowulf, Epic of Gilgamesh, and the Aenid, and the Battle of Thermapolee."

Josh examined the page, perhaps it was another language. But nope, it just looked like scribbling. He shook his head before looking back to Wayne.
"Try English next time."
He said simply before turning his attention to Titus. He listened as he named off the myths he knew.
"Well, for one Beowulf is Norse, as is Gilgamesh....I think, either way not Greek or Roman. Thermapolee happened, but it was around a thousand Spartans as opposed to 300. But then again 300 is a better name for a movie."
He said with a slight laugh.
"And I think they've found some evidence that the Iliad is based mostly in fact. I don't think there was an Achilles however."
He smiled before turning back to Wayne. Wayne was...interesting to say the least. He seemed to be pretty smart, or at least knew another language.

"Actually, Beowulf comes from the British isles, not Norse Anglo Saxon to be specific,, and Gilgamesh is Indian," says Wayne, "and not to mention that not all epics came from Greece and Rome. Many of them can be found in other cultures, it's only a style of writing, not who actually wrote them."

"Also, the only historical record we have of the battle of Thermapolae was written by a man who was born four years after the battle occurred. And just because something is based on fact doesn't make it true. Like the great historical fiction novels of the past. Les Miserables for instance." His accent slips to be slightly British during the last sentence. Though he doesn't seem to notice the slip just yet.

"Agreed, but again, we're supposed to be discussing Greek and Roman myths. So I think she's referring to Hercules, the Odyssey...and come to think of it I don't know any Roman myths. Well, aside from the existence of their gods."
He said with a shrug and slight laugh. He'd noticed Titus' accent slip but decided not to mention it. If he wanted to pretend to be American then so be it.
"Doesn't the strait of Gibraltar have something to do with Hercules too? Like he was imprisoned there or something. Apparently my memory of myths isn't as good as I thought."
He gave a slight laugh and shrug before looking to the other two.

Sasha had actually been monitoring the class and had gotten an idea of how most of the kids thought. This also gave her a better idea on how to help them as they went through the class. She had worded the question the way she had so that she could see how the kids would answer. "Alright everyone, settle down. How about one person from each group share their answers? Let's start with the group in the corner with Josh, Titus, and Wayne."

Wayne pretty much freezes when she asks the group to present. She never said anything about presenting...this wasn't right...it wasn't part of the assignment...
At this point, he's sweating terribly, and he begins to look around nervously, as if trying to escape this room. If anyone looked closely, every water bottle was slowly beginning to bubble, not boil or get any hotter, but just bubble more and more frantically.

"Tch, what a pain. We came up with Prometheus, The Odyssey, the Iliad, the Aeneid, and a few non-Roman and non-Greek ones." He hadn't had any particular desire to talk to the class, but he wasn't going to make Josh do it, the kid seemed alright, and Wayne... froze.

"Well that's great Titus!" She had been scanning the others still, what an interesting lot this was. Sasha goes through the other groups, of course towards the end a lot are saying we got what they got. People were only exposed to so many of the ancient stories.

Josh leaned over to Wayne as other kids went around talking about what their groups got. Which was a lot of the same.
"Psst..."
He nudged Wayne, hoping to get his attention.
"Ok, you really need to work on public speaking. Just think, what's the worst Sasha, I mean Ms.....whatever she said her name was, can really do? I'd say picture her naked but if you're like me you might be doing that already."
He said with a slight laugh. He didn't know why but being around people was helping him cope with the horrible mistake he'd made and the accident he'd caused with Mina. Maybe Angel was right? There's a first time for everything.

Titus grins and leans in, this would be a great way to assimilate. To be one of them, this was a nice change, is this what schools were really like? Man all that homeschooling was so dull. "You know, if she got close I could turn her clothes into liquids. There would be no more need for picturing, though of course sometimes reality isn't quite as good as our imaginations."

"Not to mention she'll kick your ass."
Josh said in response to Titus' offer. While he wouldn't hate to see that sight he would hate the fall out from it.
"I'll stick with imagining...for now."
He said with a slight smirk. He leaned back in his chair and listened before running a hand through his shaggy blond hair. He'd been so focused on Mina he hadn't been taking care of himself like he normally did. He knew now he needed a haircut, but he'd take care of that after classes.
