Name: Jonathan "Jon" Sieward
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Side: Neutral
Affiliation: Brotherhood
Description:
Personality: Jon has an intimate knowledge of what most people would consider novel or useless information. This information can come in handy on many occasions however, and with his ability to just make up decent plans as things happen, this knowledge has saved his life on a few occasions.
Powers and Abilities: Jon is able to absorb and store large amounts of kinetic energy from his movements, which he gains little by little, essentially making him a battery of kinetic motion. He can then use this stored energy to amplify the force he uses in a given motion, Say for a jump or punch, without needing a higher rate of speed (this does not give him super speed or strength, just more force is projected). He can also fire kinetic blasts from a metal focus, as long as it in contact with his skin. He can control the amount of energy he uses in a given situation, but not track the amount he has stored within himself.
After his recent encounter with Thanos, and having used the Mind Gem against the Mad Titan, Jon seems to have also acquired something of a talent for telekinesis. Whether or not this is a secondary mutation or an effect from using the Mind Gem, he is not sure. But for the moment, he is keeping it secret from the other students and staff.
Jon is also a competent hand to hand combatant, having trained in martial arts since he was five, as well as training he received at Xavier's School. He has also recently built a device to block telepaths, so as to keep them from messing with his mind or discovering any of the Brotherhood's plans.
History: Jon grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He was always smarter than average, but it never reflected in his schoolwork, believing himself to be meant for something greater than a nobody. This was especially true when his powers started to manifest. He first noticed them when he managed to knock a hole in a concrete wall in his basement, and horribly fracture his arm. Eventually he almost lost control of it, pouring out energy at the most inopportune times in school and home. He was shunned for it, but he never really cared about that, and began to look for a place that could help him. This is how he came to find the Xavier Institute, and immediately enrolled, with the help and blessing of his parents. He had been there for almost six years, and in this time, has learned a way to control his power, and to manipulate it in a different fashion. Recently though, he has become more and more disillusioned with the Professors teachings of how mutants should try to gain acceptance among humans, and this is starting to lead him down a slightly darker and more agressive path.
Over time, Jon had become a bit of a staple to the staff of the academy, being the general go to student for a number of tasks they might need. His last year of classes mostly saw him making his rounds among the teaching staff, and in this capacity is where he met Deus and Mina, and quickly befriended the two new students.
Deciding to help Mina out with a boy she had a crush on, he escorted her to the nearby mall, it was then that a man barrelled past them, having stolen some sort of gem. It was then that the Mad Titan, Thanos showed up to take back the gem, and Jon attempted to protect Mina from the overlord. Though he did his best, Jon's abilities were mostly ineffectual, causing severe injuries to himself. Finally, the young mutant took up the Soul Gem, and used it to amplify his own powers with it, succeeding in making the Mad Titan stop for a moment, though Jon died in the process.
At this point, Jon met the Watcher Uatu and Death herself at the end of time and space. Here, they filled him in on what had happened to the universe, and how it was changed from its previous state. Vowing to aid them, Death named him as her envoy to the world, and to help fight Thanos where possible before sending him back.
