The jeep rode slowly in the snowy terrain outside the better mountains of the Canadian alps. Hell these parts were just gorgeous all year around. With beautiful wild life running around. Or the sight of snow laying gently on the trees. It looked like a beautiful ride but sometimes it's deceiving. As were the two riding in the vehicle.
"Rogue, listen to me." She slowly drove them to the desired spot. Sighing a little, she warned her, "This is a very dangerous mission. It relies on you and myself working at optimum proficency. If we should fail. It will reflect negatively on both of us."
However, they slowly come to the turn in the road. Here. The woman smiled to her younger assosciate and with a black gloved hand. This woman stroked a few hairs in Rogue's face. Simply she explained to her, "Whatever you see and whatever happens. Listen to my orders and react like I trained you, understood? Your gifts are key to this mission. I need your full support now more than ever. Essex won't approve if we fail him this time. Nothing can go wrong, Rogue. Nothing."
Before driving forth. She awaited her 'daughter' to speak. Sitting in idle on the hill and hopeful Rogue knew what she meant.

Rogue looked out the right side, green emerald eyes observing the scenery. A knot formed in the pit of her stomach from nerves, this was her first mission, all the hours of training ended up with this day needing to prove to Essex that she was an important asset to the team but most importantly, not wanting to let her momma down. A weak smile crept upon her red lips seeing the doe standing next to its mother. Turning her head to continue to view it as they passed by, the voice of Mystique was what brought her out of her trance as her hair flicked to the side, white stands falling upon her face to look at the woman who had brought her into her house and began to raised as her own. “Ah kno’ momma, ya told me dis all before, ah haven’ forgotten it in the pas’ few hours.” The mutant frowned, was her foster mother starting to doubt her abilities?
Adjusting to the left to be able to view the woman with golden hair, not yet knowing the blue skin creature that truly sat beside her, Rogue nodded acknowledging Mystique’s words. “Momma, we’ve been trainin’ fo’ dis fo’ years now, why aren’ ya trustin’ my abilities? Ah kno’ wha’ ah have t’do an’ ain’ plannin’ on lettin’ ya down momma.” She frowned, looking forward once more as the car stalled to a halt. This was not improving her mood and she did not want to lose focus. In a distance she imagined she thought she saw a pair of red eyes looking back into her green orbs, blinking to get focus but nothing was there. Ever since she had met that Cajun, arrogant, son of a …, well Rogue just could not shake him out of her mind and it was driving her mad.
This was not like other times Rogue had absorbed someone’s powers and held onto their psyche for long period of time. She was purposely thinking about those red eyes, that muscular torso, the tight grip he had pinning her to the wall. Rogue was obviously distracted and this is what her foster mother must of picked up on, giving her the same lecture over again. “Listen, right…” though she was not listening, Anne Marie’s mind was in some ulternate universe where she could touch, feel, kiss; the same place she always went to when she was daydreaming of holding someone close, currently that someone a Cajun boy she couldn’t stand but there was just something about him that blew her mind away.

Mystique narrowed her eyes a bit colder than usual. Seeming to know there is something out of place. Yet what is a mystery to even her. Finally, she turned ahead and slowly went down the hill. The sight of a base was ahead. The 'guards' will be coming soon. Least from what she's told two guards. Males. The easy part was distracting them and letting Rogue do her thing. When they knew the history of one man. Mystique will take his identity and they will rendevous at the side where Mystique can get her inside without detection.
The vehicle stops and then, Mystique smiled when she saw two lights glowing up ahead. "Alright Rogue. It's time. So get ready, your first task is to drain knowledge from one man while I go about knocking the one talking to me out... and relay the entrance codes to me directly." This, is the part Rogue may not approve of. "You have to leech his mind for however long it may take to get those codes. We need them. Do not let go until you have them. Do you understand me?"
Training was one thing. Yet no matter how they try. The selective leeching of memories was impossible. There were just too many at one mind. Yet Mystique was positive however it may come this was the only way. Now faking that the jeep was stalled out. Mystique shifted forms to be a very attractive, sensual looking woman. So to distract the men when they appear. Leaving Rogue the perfect chance to do her thing.
On the hill was the large facility. A stone and steel platted structure that looked to go far back. Block like in structure it was reminiscent of a kind of castle. Yet there the men appear, in common winter gear. Two men, one with a beard and large visors as well a furry hood. The other seemed to pull back his hood and was radioing in that there was a vehicle outside the perimeter. Meaning that now, time is of the essence.
Mystique stepped out. Then smiled sweet as she can. Explaining they were terribly lost, looking for her mother's home for her and her daughter. The men, distracted by her situation or maybe just the fact the mother had curves like no other. Simply began to talk about how they can help with the jeep. When they pop the hood. The one worked in the jeep's hood while the other stepped back and tried to talk with Mystique. She would take him down. While the other was occupied working on the car.

Spotting the men, Rogue adjusted her own tight black tee, stretching down her skinny black jeans. Just like the appearance Mystique took, Rogue was naturally curvy and overly blessed in the upper region that most men spot too instead of her eyes. This was going to be easy and had no idea why her momma was worrying about this mission. “Da minute ah get da code ah lettin’ go momma, don’ like da idea o’ him in my head fo’ so long.” The frown continued, the image of Remy disappearing and staying focus on the task in hand. “Yea, ah understand perfectly momma” so many times had she left Mystique disappointed, this was not going to be one of those times. She had to succeed and get those codes that were so needed. The two were the perfect team, Mystique being the shape shifter and Rogue being able to absorb any information she wanted, the two could go undetected, in and out and nobody would know any better. It was brilliant, according to Rogue, and nothing could go wrong, not this time, and the two would be praised for their easy effort.
Pulling off her gloves and leaving them on the dashboard, Rogue got out of the car, pull opening the hood and began to examine the mechanics, pulling on tubes and what not so it did appear as if the car had broken down. With her rear popped out all nice and firm, she could feel gaze checking her out, the voice of her mother sounded muffled as she explained the situation to the men. Seconds later a hooded man appeared next to Rogue. She smiled seductively, batting her eyes and giving a puzzled look. She adjusted her stance so he had a better view down her shirt and shrugged, “ah don’ kno’ anythin’ about cars.” She sighed giving the helpless girl pout, “could ya please help us?” Men, they were so easily distracted, so easily manipulated, this was not going to be difficult what so ever. “Can an assist ya in any way?” the innuendo was there, leaning forward towards him, his eyes looking down her shirt and then…
Images of the man of what he would like to do to Rogue flashed in her head, wrinkling in disgust. Breakfast scene of him with his wife, kissing the children goodbye as he went to work, the bastard! His affair with the secretary, his memories of the past flashing before her very eyes and wanted to let go so badly. “Momma, ah can’ do it. Momma ah wan’ t’let go.” She pleaded, but held on tightly to the man’s arm with her own bare hand. “AH!” Anne Marie let out a gasping scream of pain, the code flashing in her mind but still did not let go for she was no longer paying attention. Everything the man had seen, felt, experienced, his whole life was in Rogue’s mind and it felt like nettles stabbing her back, burning sensation on her fingertips> “MOMMA AH DON’ WANNA HOLD ON ANYMORE!” sounding like a child, whining and tears in her eyes so did not wait for Mystique’s orders, but crashed upon the ground with a loud thump. Her red hand clinched her hair, pulling it as she continued to scream in agony.

The other guy was turning to see what the hell all the screaming was about. Yet when he did, he felt a strong grasp on his wrist. Then he was flailing into the radiator repeatedly with a strong leg kicking him into the metal. There is the silencing moans before a sudden crack and he fell. Mystique had spun her long leg over his head and gave a sharp twist. Ending the struggles.
After that she let him lay dead but her face is angry. "Don't you do it Anna Marie! Don't you dare!!!" Angry as ever. She snapped as she struggled on, "Get the codes! Don't let go until you have the codes!" It was longer than usual. Perhaps because she was so excited from the mission. Or whatever the reason Rogue was not doing well. Finally though after she drained the man's memories and the codes she fell. Yet to Mystique she failed. She stormed over and snatched her daughter's wrist.
"Did you get the codes?" Not even looking to care if she was in pain. The mission relied on this. She glared down angrily. Or wrathful. Yet it was too important that Rogue kept her senses at this time. Right now...

Rogue continued to scream, tugging on her hair as the psyche of the man invaded her mind. She knew everything about him, not a mortal what so ever but guised as one to find out information as well. Who he worked for, he did not know, but he was close to finding out all the information he needed, haven gotten the codes that same day himself before transferring them over to Rogue. “GERROUT OF MY HEAD!” she screamed, mentally having a struggle with herself trying to keep in control of her body, her soul.
Emerald green eyes turned to look at her foster mother at calling her by her real name. How she hated that entity of herself, Anna Marie, no she was Rogue and nobody else. “why you make me hang on momma, why?” she whined, closing her eyes as the pain began to subside. She could still sense him, the power he had for she always absorbed others powers and be able to manipulate them to her will for minutes, hours, days even, but this was the first time she had held on for so long and something in her told her something was not right.
“Momma” Rogue looked at her with concern, ignoring the question about the codes. Was that all she cared about, the damn codes to this mission, did Mystique not care or worry about Rogue’s wellbeing what so ever? “ah, ah don’ kno’ momma, it’ all blurry an’ it hurts t’think.” She was fibbing just a tab bit, for the mutant knew the codes, seeing each number float my her eyes like a piece of dust dancing in the wind.
She turned to look at the mutant, lunch over the hood of the jeep. “Is he…he dead?” Rogue did not want to kill the man or hurt him what so ever for that matter, just grab the codes that’s all she needed to do and even failed to accomplish that so quickly like everything else in her life. If only she could control her powers, be able to touch without having to use them, feel the bare skin of another in her own hand. It was useless, she knew she could never touch. Grabbing her gloves, Rogue allowed herself to slide down the side of the car leaving a clean spot on the door from where her clothing rubbed down and plopped onto the sandy ground with a soft thump. Putting on her gloves she looked at the woman she loved like her own real mother, hoping that what she felt was not true and that Mystique truly cared about her.

Mystique was quiet at first. Yet, a slow smile she picked up on the anxiousness of the child. "Shh... it's okay..."
Getting on a knee. The other woman slowly brushed Rogue's hair as she lay on against the jeep. A gentle caress of a mother to a child is the best assurance. Especially when you are using that child to commit anything. A slow nod, Mystique told her, "I just need you ready. If you're ever going to be like me. Work beside me, fight by me and keep me safe. I need to know you can do everything I ask for you. Without distraction. Without letting the pain, and the horror of your actions stop you. I've raised you to be strong, courageous and full of power my child. Just remember all the training."
Indeed she trained Rogue's body. To both fight and flirt her way to men. Yet her powers were so unique she could never train her how to use them. They were nothing like any other power and were basically untested in combat use. Yet they were so devastating. Mystique smiled brightly though and nudged her child's chin.
"Forgive me sugah, I just want you to help me out here so bad. I forget you're still my little girl. So give momma a chance to make it up to you. After this mission I'm taking you out to a fancy, fun restaurant with the best dress money can buy. A full body one, with matching long gloves and everything that makes you beautiful perfectly accented."
Though, really. A hug that Mystique gave Rogue. Was more than a simple child like that would want. Gifts and prized mean little to these kind of people. Rogue, to Mystique, lived for contact and love. To be appreciated for who she is and what she is. Well...
"He's fine. Just knocked out. You remember your power works that way..." She was going to have to kill him off though. Both of them. Standing back she took form of the other man, the one she just took knowledge from. In his voice, she spoke, "We need to move Rogue. If we waste too much time then they will get suspicious."
Mystique dragged the other man into the back of the jeep snapping his neck for good measure. Then she took off his clothes and thanked god he's got a lot of stuffy clothing. It'll throw off the size difference and shape of Rogue and this other man... returning. She smiled and told Rogue, "If you put these on. You can sneak in with me. Just keep the hood up and look down a lot. Okay?"
She was going to use the codes. So might as well. "Also, Rogue.... sweetie, can you please, please try and remember the codes for mommy?"
