Amadeus was just standing up when he sees Jon in his face. The only thing he could do was charge his chest with electricity. This would at least allow him to hit Jon while he himself is being hit. The strike knocked the wind out of him though. Man this was a rough fight. He stumbles back and manages not to fall only because he had his back to the wall. Of course if Jon was still pushing the charge he would go through yet another wall.

Jon stepped back as he was zapped, the charge faltered after that point.
Damnit, he lost the initiative, and now had to essentially reset after that zap. This was the one problem with needing the metal foci, it could really throw him through a loop if he were hit by electricity.

Amadeus chuckles as he readies himself again. He really wished he had some flashbangs, or claymores, bouncing betties... wire, bolts, a crossbow. They would be really useful for throwing Jon for a loop. He charges the tonfas, he had found it was easier to store large charges in other objects instead of in himself. However these things didn't have the lightning bolt's worth. Just enough to throw John off his guard. He throws more energy into the right hand one and launches another bolt of electricity at Jon.

Jon manages to evade the blast, though it still clips his back, sending his brain into a loop for a moment. He had definitely lost the initiative for the moment, and Deus could keep pinging him as long as he kept the weapons in hand.
Wait...an idea flashed through his mind.
Reaching out with his senses, he grasped the tonfa with his telekinesis, and made an attempt to rip it out of Deus' hand against the thumb. Even if it didn't work, it'd buy him a second to recover.

Amadeus feels them get tugged, but there wasn't anything he could do about that. They get pulled right out of his hands. However, that just meant he had to break Jon's concentration. He holds his hands out and then throws small jolts of electricity from each finger down the hallway. He throws twenty of these minor jolts before he runs around the corner. He had to get away from Jon's line of sight for now.

Jon didn't need to keep up concentration for too long, which made avoiding the bolts easy for him to do. Though it did buy Deus some time to get a head start on Jon. Who as soon as he could, was sprinting down the hall after his opponent.

Luckily for Amadeus Jon had lost his cool enough to actually run after him. As Jon rounds the corner he sees Amadeus halfway through a spinning roundhouse kick which was aimed to hit Jon right in the side of his face. Jon wasn't the most silent runner, and of course Amadeus's familiarity with the man made it easy to aim the kick, and a last minute adjustment was all that was needed.

Jon rounded the corner, and that was his second mistake. His first had been letting anger take over his decision making. But at this point there wasn't much he could do beyond cover his head and take the kick closer to his upper back, which sent him reeling through a nearby wall.
