Name: Thanos
Age: Ageless
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight

Title: Titans of Thanos
Abilities: Thanos is a mutant member of the race of superhumans known as the Eternals, and possesses a wide range of abilities, some of which are common to the Titanian Eternals, and others of which have been acquired through bionic amplification, mysticism, and augmentation by Death itself. In addition to superior levels of superhuman strength, stamina, and particularly, durability, Thanos has shown himself able to tap, transform, and direct enormous quantities of cosmic energy, and to use it to shield himself. The Titanian is also capable of matter manipulation, telekinesis, and resistance to powerful telepathic assaults. Thanos has demonstrated psionic abilities, including telepathy, the limits of which are as yet unknown. Thanos can also temporarily increase his powers by absorbing energy from an unknown source of quasi-mystical nature.
Thanos possesses a superhuman intellect, originally dedicated to the annihilation of life and the mastery of any technology/mysticism which would enable him to achieve this goal. He possesses technology that allows force field projection, time travel, movement through alternate dimensions, and teleportation over interstellar distances. He has used a throne-like chair capable of teleportation and faster-than-light travel, and once used the starship Sanctuary II as a base of operations. Thanos also trained his adopted daughter Gamora to become one of the universe's most adept female assassins.
Description:
Build (Muscular/Excessive)

Weight (985lb)
Eye (Red)
Skin (Purple)
Physical (Large form with stone-like jaw, hairless and muscular full tone. Bulky but not impeded speed of movement. Wears unique stellar clothing, royal blue and golden trim. Specially designed to his own physique.)
Personality: Thanos is insane for the deity of Death a woman hidden in a cloak. Thanos in his mind, will do all he may for Death and lives only to the idea she will one day recognize him. In his calculations Thanos feels that no life is above that of Death and will never be more than a pawn to the need of her beauty. He is mad with rage when lesser life involves itself in his tasks. At times it blinds him, but can be more devastating than his sensible mind.
History:
Thanos was one of the last sons of A'Lars, progenitor of the second colony of Eternals on Titan, and Sui-San, the last survivor of the original settlement of Eternals on Titan. Born with grey, hide-like skin and a massive body, Thanos was a morose child who became obsessed with the concept of death. Through bionic implementation and long hours of meditation, Thanos augmented his Eternal strength and powers so that his powers surpassed those of all other Titanian Eternals. As he grew in power, Thanos also grew in ambition and desire for conquest. Thanos stole one of his people's starships and traveled to other star systems to recruit soldiers, mercenaries, and malcontents for a private army. With a small fleet he dropped nuclear devices on his home world Titan, killing thousands of his people, including his mother Sui-San. Declaring himself ruler of Titan, he then set his sights on Earth.
At some point in his adult life, Thanos met the embodiment of Death itself who, in female form, became Thanos' companion. It is probable that Death was attracted to Thanos by both his philosophical dedication to nihilism as well as his willingness to commit genocide on even his own people. Thanos began, for the first time in his life, to experience love for another being, although the being was just a manifestation of Death. To make himself worthy of so awesome an entity, Thanos decided to acquire more power. At first he planned simply to seize political power through the conquest of worlds. To this end, he amassed a huge armada of battleships. Then he found a way to amplify immeasurably his personal power. Having kept the planet Earth under surveillance since it first exploded a nuclear weapon, Thanos learned of a power-object called the Cosmic Cube brought into existence by the subversive organization, Advanced Idea Mechanics. Thanos seized control of the reality-altering device and commanded it to give him control over the universe.
Transformed into a godlike wraith by the Cosmic Cube, Thanos battled the Avengers and the Kree Captain Marvel, the former of whom had already vanquished his armada. When Thanos carelessly discarded the Cube, believing falsely that he had drained it of all power, Mar-Vell struck the cube, willing it to restore the universe to what it had been. Robbed of power, Thanos reverted to mortal form in the center of the universe where his flagship Sanctuary II retrieved him under pre-programmed instructions. Revived, Thanos was dejected to discover that Death had abandoned him because of his failure. He soon formulated a plan to regain "her" affection: he would give to "her" more than any single living being had given "her," the annihilation of everything that lives.
Numerous attempts would fail over and over. Even the occurance of the Infinity Gems which he used numerous times seemed fitting a means. Yet it was the later point where Thanos attained the gems only to manifest a machine for his plans. Thanos hoped to use this machine and with the gems, a final devastation. What he had not expected was the intervention of heroes and villains once more in his path. As he knew the outcome to rise, Thanos attempted to force the machine to act before it was prepared. Where in his ations lead to a devastating turn of events. Time and Space became warped. The stones shattering and all that was, stopping. Soon the world was blank.
Thanos awoke from his work to find himself stranded in space. He was floating aimlessly for some time, before his ship the Sanctuary appeared! He was shocked to see this old vessel, let alone that when he entered it was so far back in time. It seemed that his work had fractured the timeline, and sent he himself into the past. A long time where all is not what it becomes.
Knowing what he does. Thanos decides that now was as good a time to act. A smile and he flies his ship to Earth. To do one thing, and one thing alone. To make sure the heroes whom involve themselves so many times before will never interfere with his work. For the world is weak and he, is forever strong.
