Personality: Marlin suffers from severe hallucinations thanks to his mutant abilities. He also does think in the same manner as most people, with this manifesting as him speaking gibberish or highly inane sentences.
However, when his third eye is open, Marlin is entirely lucid, as it is only at that time does everything he sees make sense.
Powers/Abilities: Marlin is a mutant capable of perceiving numerous possible futures for people and objects he observes. However, without the aid of his third eye, these "futures" are only perceived as massive hallucinations that make no sense to him.
Marlin also has a third eye on his forehead. This eye, when open, allows him to make sense of the visions he constantly receives, and even allows him to make "predictions" of sorts.
History: Marlin was born to a small family in New York City. He was generally a bright kid, and did well in school. Up until his powers began to manifest.
At first, he thought he was catching glimpses of shadows, hearing voices, things of that nature, and told his family. They took him to a local psychiatrist, who at first diagnosed Marlin with paranoid schizophrenia...until the third eye grew out of his forehead.
Treated as a freak, even by his own family, Marlin finally left, while the visions continually eroded his sanity. He found himself living on the street, no family or friends to look after him, until he was found by the Morlocks. Even though he was too far gone to be a productive member, his visions have helped the group on several occasions.
